Single-display ceiling mounts
Features of the single ceiling mounts include continuous tilt ranges with four set locking points that eliminate guesswork when adjusting multiple screens; easy on/off mount connection for ease of installation and service; tool-free screen engagement; optional padlock security; Centris technology to provide fingertip tilt; and optimization for a wide range of display sizes.

Multi-display ceiling mounts
Features of the multi-display ceiling mounts include independent height, plumb and lateral shift adjustment knobs to help align displays, no tools required, and optimization for a wide range of display sizes. Models can be combined to create any menu board or video wall configuration up to three displays tall. Available accessories include power management, secure storage and video conferencing shelves, and computer and digital media player adapters.

“These new mounts will incorporate many of the suggestions and feedback we get from end users,” said Luke Westin, associate product manager. “We think they will be pleased with the ease of installation, versatility and scalability of the new mounting solutions.”

AirPort Express features a completely redesigned compact enclosure and new capabilities including simultaneous dual-band, a USB 2.0 port for wireless printer sharing, AirPlay support, and an additional Ethernet port. 

Setup is built into OS X and iOS, and AirPort Utility 6.0 for OS X Lion and for iOS provides a visual map of the network for viewing and reconfiguring devices.

Russound has introduced its new SLK Single Line Keypad designed for individual zone control of the C-Series MCA-C3 and MCA-C5 multiroom audio systems.

This single-gang keypad designed for basic zone control contains powerful features beneath its Decora exterior finish, according to the company, and with 5 colors options available the SLK is at home in any setting (conversion kit required).

The SLK’s white backlit LCD panel is designed to be simple to navigate and control. The 5 character display lists current source, volume level and system status information. 

For added convenience, users can power the room’s system on/off with a single soft-touch button and even turn off all-zones by simply holding down the power button for 4 seconds. Source selection promptly changes when scrolling through the systems source list with the simple touch of a button.

Savant Ships Latest Keypads

Savant’s three new keypad styles, Metropolitan, Circa and Echo allow for AV, climate, window treatment and lighting control or can be customized for any control application. All three offer an array of custom engraved backlit button layout options. There are 13 field-changeable LED colors to make each keypad in the home unique. They include:

  • Three standard paint faceplate finishes (black, white and almond – gloss)
  • Three button finishes (black, white and almond – gloss)
  • Three premium faceplate finishes (satin nickel, polished chrome and dark bronze)

Circa is available in column, wide and square styles and offers up to six points of control per single-gang keypad. The Echo lineup, offering up to ten points of control per single-gang keypad, is available in column (vertical) configuration. Metropolitan keypads, offering up to nine points of control per single-gang keypad, come in both column and wide (horizontal) configurations.
